A little bit about us

Legal Typing was started in 2017 following the success of our sister company, Property Typing.  Following numerous enquiries for our services from the Legal Sector, the need for fast, accurate, remote legal secretaries within the law industry was apparent.  Using our bespoke safe, secure and highly confidential portal, we can offer fast, reliable, experienced legal typing services to assist your business, whether as a full-time resource or just as holiday cover when your usual legal secretary goes away.

Having worked with a number of Lawyers and legal professionals, Legal Typing understands the needs and requirements of law professionals, the level of confidentiality required and the accurate and fast turnarounds that are often needed to maintain the professional level of service which is essential for certain document production.

Dedicated UK typists

Legal Typing only uses UK based typists who have had extensive experience working as legal secretaries or audio typists in the legal sector and with solid secretarial backgrounds ranging from audio typists who have worked in large typing agencies to ex-legal typists and even legal professionals now moving on to a more flexible work from home career.

24 hour Legal Typing Portal

Our bespoke Legal Typing Portal means you can track your dictation jobs and real-time message your typist about work.  You can use the portal on the go to view your job status on your mobile and even email the jobs from your phone.  You can even store your letterhead templates or draft leases within your own profile area and keep them updated and in one place.

Personal Secretarial Support

We like to allocate you a couple of typists and make sure that each one is familiar with your requirements and templates and there is always someone available if the regular typist is off sick or on holiday which means you get the same standard and formatting of reports each time you use our company, offering you a personal remote secretarial service just as if you were using your own secretary.

Standard 24 Service

Our standard rate per audio minute is amazing value, you won’t find a specialist property typing agency anywhere who can offer these kind of prices for a fast and reliable turnaround of within 24 hours.  And if you need it sooner, no problem, we won’t charge you more as a valued customer and will just do our best to prioritise your work.  Your dedicated typist will be familiar with your typing style and experienced holiday cover typists will be available if they go away.

Non Audio Work (i.e. Copy Typing)

Property Typing’s hourly rate offers an excellent value outsourced alternative to employing your own PA or secretary.  We can do pretty much anything an on site admin could but you only pay us for the hours we do. Copy typing, pasting in standard paragraphs, formatting reports or inserting photographs – we are happy to do it all.

All prices include a dedicated typist and holiday cover when they are away.
